Gloucester hospital PAU inpatient

Hi! Does anyone know whether you get free parking at the hospital if you are staying in with your child? My little one has been in for 2 days currently and I’m just worrying about my parking 😂 I’m skint until I get my pay! I also need to find a way of getting some fruit squeezy pouches from Asda or Tesco as it’s the only thing I can get little bits down him (he’s very poorly and not eating or drinking!) they don’t do them in the shop at the hospital! And I’ve tried looking for something else but jheeezzzz it’s so pricey!!! Any suggestions??

Chat with the ward, they offer a permit if you have to stay for several days with your child. 💕 if I were closer to Glos Hospital I would offer to drop some off - I know the feeling so tricky when they’re poorly and can’t get what you need, as it’ll help them having something! I’m sure most of the shops do delivery round the hospital as a last resort! Sending lots of positive thoughts, my sons just come out of hospital🤞🏻

I read this on glos hospital website, so maybe speak to the sister / ward manager: “Exemption from parking charges applies in individual cases where: ▪ Parents staying overnight with children on children’s wards”

If that doesn’t work, I’m not sure if you’re able to leave your little one and have someone else sit with them for even just 10 minutes, but there’s parking down the road ever so slightly that’s significantly cheaper x
