Questions

OK, so I have a few questions. How do I promote my baby to crawl? How many words is your baby saying? Does your baby listen to their name after going to my baby's check-up? I had to fill out a little clipboard with things that they were doing I was so overwhelmed, not knowing, if not, that was a big deal. I know babies are different but feel guilty if she’s not reaching some of them like crawling I see babies at nine months standing up and my baby has not crawled yet so if you have any ideas on how to help her crawl I would appreciate it.

My mother in law bought my daughter a monkey toy that rolls around and makes sound, she always was tempted to crawl to it. She started army crawling to it and now she actually crawls crawls to it. She knows 3 words dada, mama, and nana we just keep repeating it to her slowly and Ms Rachel also helped too. She does listen for her name and turns when someone is calling her, ever since she was a newborn we always said her name to this day. Your baby will achieve those milestones when she’s ready to your doing a wonderful job mama

Don't stress each baby is different. I've been told that the 1st Child usually takes longer to reach their milestones. My baby turned 9 months yesterday and she still doesn't crawl or props herself to situp or says words. But she does roll, butt scoots, babbles alot, she also does stay sitted when we put her in the position. She is starting to want to crawl soon enough.(she gets in position but gets overwhelmed). We bought her the crabs that moves, but she rolls to it lol. Don't stress about it😊

I look at questionnaire a month before the appointment, we are work on it way in advance. It is like anything our child does, some of our kids won’t read at grade level or maybe have low performing state scores. It is our job as a parent to educate ourselves, fill those gaps, work on hitting those milestones.

Some babies skip crawling! It’s all good 🫶🏻

Also I was told babies at this age just babble, any word or sound they say isn’t real words they’re consciously saying.
