We bought a door storage hanger so it hangs on the back of the door and has like 5 basketa on it so we could put nappies wipes etc in there. Also watched alot of minamilsm for baby items and clothes on youtube so we didnt have excess clothes (which is tricky with kids as you need the extra clpthes at times). I bought storage stackable bins to place in the wardrobe to further makw use of the space
We also live in a one bed apartment and limited for space too. Weve put a chest of drawers inside our wardrobe for baby's stuff.
So we’ve just bought a small drawer unit with a few drawers on it to fit next to his cot in our room. But unfortunately we have no back of door space as that’s already storage for our bits and pieces and have no room for further furniture to be bought so we are also now in a process of throwing away our stuff to make space 😂. We’ve already got a dresser on the wardrobe which I got my partner to clean out and we had a drawer and a half for baby and then when I went to put baby clothes in there the drawers were all full again 😂 so that wasn’t helpful haha.
I feel your pain! We were hoping to be in a house by now but unfortunately haven't found the right home to move into! We ended up giving loads away to make room for baby. Who said baby's don't need a lot stuff 😂
My baby has more accessories than Claire 😂
We only just got a cat as well and so all the spaces I’d have used for baby storage is now cat spaces haha
We also have a cat and his things take up a lot of space too! We have an area dedicated to his scratch post, cat bed etc
Underbed storage in those plastic containers with lids for clothes which might be bigger in size? Sorting out your winter vs summer wardrobe too and again, under bed storage is great!
Just ordered more under bed storage boxes, we had to buy an ottoman! This apartment was perfect when my partner lived here alone. It’s been tight with my added stuff as is. Cannot wait to move now 😂
I followed a bunch of YouTube videos on how to fold baby clothes so that I could get them to a) look very pleasing 😂 and b) fit more in a drawer! I bought the little kaddy/trolley from IKEA to put nappies, muslins, wipes, post partum etc stuff in, & that doesn’t take up a lot of space. You could wheel it into your bedroom then back into your living room if needed. I bought a 2x2 kallax unit from IKEA as again, they don’t take up a lot of space, & I’ve put baby’s developmental toys in there. We’re living in a 2 bedroom house but it’s a small one, plus we both work from home, so it gets claustrophobic very quickly. Happy to share more tips if you want them!
