Cheaper owlet sock alternative

My son has start rolling into his belly at night and he's always face down and I'm really worried he's gonna suffocate but I can't afford to pay hundreds of dollars for a monitoring system..

Get snuza! Way more accurate than the sock. Check FB market place

Have you thought of buying one secondhand? I always see them for $50-80 on Facebook marketplace. The cheaper alternatives usually go on the front of the diaper.

my daughter has heart tumors so the sock was a must for us to ease my anxiety. sometimes facebook marketplace will have owlets for sale but the only thing i worried about with that is the app history the sock may have with the previous baby but u could possibly just make a new account for it. i also didn’t wanna pay the 300+ for the owlet sock so we got the eufy! its the exact same as the owlet for a lower price of like $130-170 (they often have $20-30 off sales). it monitors heart rate, blood oxygen level and monitors/tracks their sleep time and wake up time(s) and also has a sock base for charging and alerting you with any issues such as drops in levels or if baby isn’t wearing sock correctly or if it has low battery. i love it and recommend to everyone who is in the market for one!

@Jewels I bought our daughters first one second hand and it doesn't come with the previous babys history! You just set it up as if it were brand new 😊

@Margarita i wanted to but my husband said he doesn't trust that it won't be defective from use or something ☹️

i got the hubble one i love it i have the monitor too so i can see it all in the same app

it was $30 on sale at walmart and it goes on the ankle and has different straps for different sizes

I have eufy and it's really great

@Ashley you can ask the person to have it charged and see it working in person before you buy it

Aside from an alternative, just an fyi if you have an HSA you can use that money to buy the Owlet (or whatever system) That’s what we did and we’ve used it for both our kiddos

The owlet saved my baby. I would buy it
