I’m 38 weeks today & had absolutely no signs yet whatsoever 🤷🏻♀️
@Holly sort of what I am getting but the pains are so irregular & my morning sickness is coming back plus loose stooles these last 2 days! Google all says it’s sign labour is coming but whether it’s true or not I’m not sure, I’ve also started to get my milk come in!
When I went into labour with my daughter I had a dull lower back ache the day before, then cramping the day of, but didn’t lose mucus plug/water break until my contractions started thick and fast.
@Joanna I’m seeing my midwife tomorrow for my regular check up so I’ll ask and see what she says !
@Joanna my midwife said the changes are normal at this stage and that I was 4/5 engaged and now 2/5 engaged so pain is from baby moving into position ! But if pain becomes worse and regular to contact them 😊
Painful contractions and waters going are the only reliable sign! All the others; loose stool, mucus plug, braxton hicks are all just later pregnancy symptoms
I’m 37+6 and have started getting cramping on and off and sharp shooting pains, plus needing a wee a lot more often , had this the past few days but not sure if I’m close or my body is just preparing itself haha
