Hymenal tag?
I looked at myself after episiotomy and tear I’m nearly. 3 months pp and I think I have a hymenal tag, small pink thing at my vagina opening has anyone had this? Does it go on its own ? I haven’t had sex yet and now I’m more scared

@Lottie I didn’t even know I had it! I haven’t had sex yet I feel too nervous . I wanted to look at my scar to see how it was healing it was the first time I looked down there properly and didn’t know what it was . Was googling all sorts of. Maybe will tell my gp?
I had this! I did not have an episiotomy tho and they said it was a prolapse and that it would likely resolve on its own but I was also referred to physical therapy for it just in case
This can be quite common with the way you’ve been stitched back up. Might be worth speaking to the GP if it’s causing you pain or discomfort or similar when you do have sex!
