I wanted an age gap of 20months-2yrs but will have a 17 month age gap
1-3 years is good but I have 3 kids that are a year apart and just had a new born so my kids are 4,3,2 and 2 weeks old. I wanted my kids close together so they can grow up together and I wouldn’t have to worry about having anymore.
I have a 19 month gap. I wanted them to grow up together and didn’t want to start at the newborn stage again when my first was a bit older. Decided to just have them both so I don’t have to have anymore later on 😂 They do very much love each other it’s super cute xx
I can’t comment too much yet as still pregnant with my second. But we always were thinking 3 years for financial reasons and my son will be exactly three when our second is here. So far this has worked out really well as my son had reached the age when he is a bit more independent and also has good communication and can understand a lot more. This has meant that he has dealt better with me being pregnant than if he was younger and I can talk to him about what’s going on and why I’m ill. And when my pregnancy symptoms have been at their worst he has been happy to play alone or for us to watch a film together which he wouldn’t have done when younger. He is also completely potty trained so I don’t have to deal with two in nappies and will have had a good break before having to use them again. For me I needed at least this long to recover from my last birth also.
My Youngest Daughter will be 4 about time I have My 7th Child.
we have a 14 month gap with my first 2 and 2 year gap between my son and daughter, personally found the shorter age gap the easier!
I’m planning on a 2year age gap!
