That's a skill I think we as parents have to learn. Not to compare and understand that they do things at their own pace, otherwise you'll be comparing them for the rest of their lives - even when they're in school, getting test results, parents day etc etc. No adult is the same, no baby is the same - some do things in different orders, some skip milestones and move onto the next one entirely. Guaranteed your baby can do things mine can't and vice versa.
Yes!!!! My baby is nearly 8 months and has never rolled and taking zero interest in crawling yet I know people in real life and online whose babies crawled at like 4.5-5 months. It really bothered me until a friend of mine mentioned her now 8 year old daughter never ever rolled and didn’t crawl til over a year or walk until 20 months. Now she is the most active little girl and does gymnastics. You would never know. And why didn’t I know before that? It doesn’t matter any more as she’s 8! It put into perspective it only matters now as everyone focuses on it and shows off how advanced their baby is. It all evens out eventually and no one will even remember by the time they are 3/4 even.
I always think as long as my bubba is happy then I'm doing a good job 😘 as humans we always compare but remember people only post the good stuff not the bad 😘 you got this mumma!
Yes, but that is the danger of comparison. Every baby is different. You got this mama
Comparison is the thief of joy x
Don’t worry what any other baby is doing honestly. They all go at own pace! My first was sitting unaided at 5 months my second is only just doing it and she’s 7 months! X
