i got 2 infections so it took me 7 weeks to recover from my c section, you got this mumma ! it’s hard i definitely feel your pain but you have to push through, walking around the house or even taking the baby for a walk is good for your healing stage, even if it hurts try push through it but don’t over do it x
@Clare around my incision, and my belly area has nerve pain. i had my incision looked at because of the pain and its not infected or anything but the doctor said its taking a bit longer to heal which is so frustrating :/
@Angela sorry you had to go through that! hoping to feel better soon :(
Awww I have the nerve pain also, it’s like burning searing pain? I’m glad to hear you got checked out , mines is taking longer to heal also because of overhang 🙄 but I am starting to see light, hoping by next week you do to! Take it easy though, I have found taking it really easy as helped me also, doing to much left me in so much pain xx
I was the same at 3 weeks pp and I was miserable but about 4 weeks pp was when I really noticed a difference and was in much less pain. I still got a few pains here and there but no where near as much as before. Now 5 weeks pp and generally pain free unless I lift something too heavy or something presses on my belly as it’s still very sensitive
Are you still taking medication? If not start taking ibuprofen and Tylenol. Alternate them and take like multiple amount. I got prescribed I think it was 800mg… or whatever the units for ibuprofen do that for a little bit so you can keep up with pain meds
Take your med on time lovely - and the most important try move around, walking around the house for 10/15 at a time will do the healing some good. No bending or picking anything up though just light walking. Hope u feel better soon lovely xx
I had nerve pain for a few weeks after my c section. It felt like a pulling/burning sensation. That got better. How is the incision site looking? Any red streaks/discoloration? Any swelling? Blood clots? As for the milk, sometimes it takes a bit to come in. Hydration and plenty of protein is key! I drink 20 oz of body armor a day, plus 80-100 oz of water a day. Eat plenty of protein foods. Prenatal vitamins are a must! Try not to stress too much as that can affect supply too.
I feel you on that. :( it’ll get better though! I didn’t start feeling better till 4 weeks pp but the medicine definitely helped. And I didn’t stop bleeding till 7 weeks pp. so that made it worse. But I’m now 8 weeks pp and feel wayyyyy better. It just takes a bit longer to heal for some people. And with the milk situation I definitely was not making enough, I have twins so I had to give them formula, since they weren’t latching on either, and when I pumped I was only making so little so what I did was I bought the mothers milk tea and it worked! I can now produce enough milk for both my babies and I still feed them formula too but only because it’s a lot of work 😣 I don’t eat healthy either just whatever I feel like eating lol but I’m telling you, that tea helped me out so much! Cuz people would tell me I need to change my diet and I was like omgggg more work lol but I tried that tea and it helped. And like I said I have twins so it definitely helped. You got this! It gets easier
I feel you, it sucks. But you are doing great and there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel. I’m 3,5m pp and even I still fill the scar sometimes, my body is mostly recovered and I could establish the lactation at around 1,5months. It has not been easy, but it’s easier now, and it’s worth everything, even I haven’t slept more than 2h on a row since before birth!
Where are u still in pain ? I feel your pain I was the same, but I ended up having an infection which is to why I was so sore tender I’m now 4 weeks pp and within a week I feel like a diff person because of anti biotics. Well on the milk front i can’t offer help as im bottle feeding. Xx
