I agree with the pp. I'm currently pregnant with my 2nd too, and am receiving a combo of massage therapy, pelvic physio, and chiropractic adjustments to help keep my hip pain at bay. I use a U shaped pregnancy pillow, which is supportive but doesn't alleviate back or hip pain on its own.
I went to a chiropractor almost weekly due to my hip pain and it helped a ton
Definitely get massages and pelvic physio to help wit the pain management. I found the U pillow helped way more than the C pillow
Specifically for pillows, U or J shaped helped me more than C. I used my U the most and would flip it so I could use my regular TempurPedic pillow which I love and have extra cushioning by my feet, helped more than the way it’s meant to be used
I got the babybub on marketplace. It’s not very big or cumbersome and has a little mini pillow if you need a bit more pressure or support on one side. Not sure it’s worth the price new, but as a back sleeper, it’s helped me easily transition to side sleeping comfortably. The big body pillow it comes with is great for between your ankles and knees if you need it. Easy to clean the pillow cases too.
If you have the insurance go to pelvic physio. I had bad hip pain in my pregnancy and had a pillow which helped a bit but when I went to pelvic physio that helped so much!
