@Ana My first borns birth was pre-term at 36 weeks, along with my diagnosis of a bicornuate uterus (which was discovered during some fertility tests) - I believe these two reasons combined were why I have been referred to the fetal medicine team where they have been keeping an eye on my cervical length
@Ana I also got tested for this because I had the leep procedure to remove pre cancerous cells many years ago and the amount of cells I had removed met their threshold to be a risk. I wasn’t but they checked me incase
I'm 24 weeks and just been told I have a short cervix too. I didn't really think too much of it at first but I've been googling and reading stuff and now feeling quite anxious 😬 I feel like we still need to buy everything and get everything sorted! Plus I really don't want him to come early, I want it as far away from Christmas as possible!!
@Louise I was diagnosed at 18 weeks and so anxious to make viability! We're past that, so hopefully can relax a little bit now ❤️ Google has been the worst thing ever through this journey, but I guess the extra monitoring and scans are reassuring.......a bit 😬😄
@Hana yehh I've just had a midwife appointment and she doesn't seem too concerned, I don't need to go on bed rest or anything! I pick up my progesterone prescription today so hoping that will help 🤞🏻
I’m 27 weeks and in full of nesting mode. The ‘to-do’ list is quite overwhelming and I really can’t think of anything worse than rushing around in December shopping and decorating!
Oh yes!!! I’ve decided to sell the house and move to a bigger how this nesting stage is no joke 🤣🤦🏼♀️
Hi. Curious to know how they diagnosed you that?? Is it a routine test?
