Bath toys

I watched something on tiktok ages ago about frugal bath toys eg using measuring cups instead of whatever is advertised as bath toys. Does anyone have any frugal ideas of what can be used at bath time? Also, bonus points for things that won’t become mouldy!

Balls (like ball pit ones), spoons, bowls, cups, saucepans, various containers, sieves, empty dispenser bottles (soaps, sauces, shampoos). My friend even used glow sticks and turned the light off in the bathroom

Also, any small world toys

Just to add on from Tasha's excellent contribution - Sponges, flannels/rags, tubs e.g. old ice cream tubs or Chinese takeaway tubs and the sieves and empty bottles are firm favourites!

Funnel. Empty plastic bottles will "pop" back up if held underwater. Most small realistic animal figurines are solid plastic so nowhere for mold to get stuck.

I love the glow stick idea

@Danielle yeah I hadn't even thought of it until my friend sent me a photo, it was like a bath rave 😂

Amazing ideas! Thank you so much!!

My boys favourite bath toys are empty shampoo bottles and shower gel bottles lol

@Beth thank you! I normally get rid of the empty bottles straight away but will keep some from now on
