Ringlet hair bangs?

So my little girl has ringlet hair, very tight curls and nothing at all like mine which is wavy at best. Her hair isn’t long at the moment but it is growing pretty fast. As her hair gets longer I want to be able to frame her face but I can’t get my head around how I’ll frame her face with ringlet hair.. does anybody have any pictures of their curly haired kiddos or themselves and how they style it around the face? Picture of my (moody) curly haired cutie for reference

i have curlier hair than hers but i had to let my hair grow out for years before it drooped enough for bangs! hair styling products will help to hold the curl once they're long enough to stay down but you'll have to part it for bangs and brush it downwards, preferably when wet. i hope that was understandable enough lol my son has a similar texture and we haven't done anything with it yet cause it's at such an awkward fro length

@destiny 💌 thank you! I only ever brush her hair when it’s soaking wet (which is a nightmare to get her to sit through lol). I think it’s just going to continue to grow upwards for the time being like her dads! He is black Caribbean mixed and so his hair texture is a lot denser than our daughters, so her texture isn’t something either of us have experience with! Are there any hair products you’d recommend that you use for your son? X

i love her little fro it’s so cute. it probably needs to grow a lot more before cutting bangs. have you tried styling products? generally all you need is a leave in conditioner, curl cream and gel

@Izzie thank you! We use a curling cream after her wash and a leave in conditioner spray but that’s all. I hadn’t thought about using gel or anything x

it might help keep her curls in place! but curly hair can be wild haha i know from experience
