Anyone else had an October write off?

Our October so far: Cold Viral infection Cold Conjunctivitis Cough Yesterday the molars broke through and I’ve never seen him as inconsolable. Especially with still having a cough to go with it too. Oh and the worst teething rash I’ve ever seen on his cheek. I cannot wait for this month to be over 😭. It’s his birthday next Sunday and I’m probably going to have to cancel his party too.

Same here! Since September. He’s been so poorly this week but hoping he will be fine for his birthday Sunday too x

Yep, hfm & norovirus and had teething thrown in as well. He starts nursery next week so I imagine november will be the same....

Omg after writing this my LO has come down with tonsillitis!! That takes us to, 4 week long cold, stomach bug, HF&M, horrific teething, and now tonsillitis. All within a month since starting nursery 😳😵

@SJ right there with you, took him to the doctors yesterday with a really bad cough and sore throat and they said he potentially has strep throat 😭. Between that and his molars the last few days it’s been the worst yet!

We had a September write off then 2 weeks of no illness… this week he’s off his food again and crying a lot, waking up at night and random temperature. Desperately hoping something isn’t brewing, it’s his birthday later this week 😭

@Paula awww I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you. It’s my little boys birthday on Sunday and we decided to cancel his party at the village hall and have something smaller at home because I don’t think he will be well enough for anything big with a lot of people 😭
