I wore mine 5 days 😂I was perfectly fine and felt so much better after x

@Chardonnay did you have any swelling? I had badly swollen feet first 3days but now I don't have any but I'm sick of wearing them I'm 11days pp x

@Jessica my legs were like big marshmallows it was horrible😂 as soon as I took them off my legs went back to normal after a few days mine were literally cutting in me honestly they are horrid x

@Chardonnay omg really? Mine are falling down my legs now there not swollen... there just annoying 😑 🙄 might ring my midwife see what she says x

As soon as the midwife came to visit she told me to take them off. I told her the hospital told me to wear them constantly and she was like, noooo, you are up and moving so you don’t need to wear them x

@Leigh I might ask them if I can no longer wear them as there driving me round the bend 😂x

I’m 5 weeks pp and I only wear mine for bed. Took them off for a couple of hours for the first 2 weeks, now I take them off as soon as I wake up and put them on when I get into bed x

Thank you both for sharing 😊

I wore mine the full 6 weeks 😂 I had a lot of anxiety after birth so I was worried about not wearing them and something going wrong. I had to do 6 weeks injections too so thought better to be on safe side. I thought I had to wear them constantly, was wearing to bed too 😂 (I had a few pairs) until the midwife told me a few weeks in I didn’t have to wear to bed just during the day.

I wore mine for 3 days as I couldn't bare them! I had really bad swelling but I just elevated my legs as high as I could without being in pain and the swelling soon went down I think it took around 2-3 days

Thank you both 💓

I was told 10 days by the hospital, though I think by day 7 I'd forgotten to put them back on 😅. My midwife said that provided I was up and walking, I didn't have to wear them constantly anyway, and we've been pretty active this last week!

@Cat thank you x

I was told to wear mine for 10 days but when speaking to the midwife because I was up and about as much as I could 6 days post csection I was advised to just wear them for bed because you don't move about at night x

@Rose thank you that's helpful x

@Jessica it may be different based on your own circumstances/medical history, but might be worth asking the midwife if you could stop wearing them ☺️. I didn't have to do the blood thinning injections either, so I'm not sure if that's why I only had to wear them for 10 days!

@Cat no I didn't get the blood thinning injection as it was a planned section you don't get them with a planned c
