@Maya Minjarez ok this gives me som reassurance so we have the Einstein playmat that has the piano and he loves kicking at it. He uses the sides to help himself roll. We have the water mat and used in a couple of times but might get it out again. When I sit him up it’s in between my legs but usually with my legs together should I do it more apart? I change up the piano so it’s upright which helps his back. When he rolls his arm gets caught and he gets frustrated x
Yeah so you can sit with your legs in a v position and have him sitting to where you support each side and his back is against you it'll help build that core strength my son's been doing that for maybe about 3 weeks now and he's getting a lot better at sitting without falling over every second lol and I have the same one the kickin tunes one! I just took the whole piano right off the stands and have it on the floor so when he rolls over he can play with it on the floor
I have one of the play mats that they can kick the little piano at their feet and I took off the piano and he loves playing with that for tummy time or I even have this water sensory mat you fill it up with water and they play with it it also has little foam sea animals they can move around. For sitting I don't use a seat I usually sit right behind him with my legs in a v and he sits up against me, at his daycare they have almost like a boppy they use but it's got a straight back with that he's getting used to sitting up almost fully on his own now. At home the closest I have is a boppy so I use that as well it doesn't work as good as the one they have though. But toys for sitting, things like box toys will help.
