Coke Zero

I can’t stop drinking Coke Zero, I’m having 2-3 cans a day. I’ve never really given foods and drinks a thought during pregnancy to be honest. With my first pregnancy I went off fizzy drinks altogether, the thought of them made me full of heave, I just drank water or squash the whole time but this pregnancy I just can’t stop drinking Coke Zero. Is that really bad? I don’t have much knowledge with this sort of stuff and I have read it’s something to do with caffeine. So is it actually dangerous me drinking Coke Zero?

The nhs website says you can have 200mg of caffeine per day when pregnant and when I checked I’m sure I saw Coke Zero only had 36mg of caffeine in a day. So you should be fine. I’ve been the same with this pregnancy x

@Samantha oh thank you that’s put my mind at rest, Google was saying it can cause preterm delivery and autism for your baby and I started to feel really guilty😭😭x

I drank coke zero constantly with my first and she's just gone a year old, I'm constantly craving it and having it again with this baby too. The bubbles help with my nausea as well which is so handy ☺️

@Samantha ahh thank you! Yeah I don’t drink coffee, usually just squash but the past week I just keep wanting coke so I’ve been drinking the Coke Zero 😂x

@Bianca oh really! Ahh this has put my mind at rest thank you xx

You can get caffeine free Coke Zero if it will put your mind at rest, I’ve been drinking it just through preference as I don’t like having too much caffeine but I do still want to have my daily coffee haha
