I’m just curious, were you and your partner not doing anything to prevent it? I would assume so since it was a surprise lol
@Emmy birth control messes up my body and hormones and we tried condoms for a while till the last one fell off inside me half way through and we didn’t realize until we finished
@Emmy birth control and or condoms doesn’t always work as well, I was on a copper iud insert when I had my baby girl. Stuff happens 🤷♀️
I was also on birth control when I conceived. The patch.
@Rebecca im the same way I really recommend trying out the mini pill if you haven’t next time it is progesterone only and I’ve found it to be better on my body then others. I’ve been on depo, nexplanon, iud, and the regular pill. This one definitely has been a more mellow for me and you can still breastfeed without any dips. I’m ebf five months pp still no period. Plus for me I hate periods. I was super against wanting to go on birth control but really financially could not do a baby anytime soon! So far I don’t hate it and you can stop taking it anytime and be back on a normal cycle within 2-3 months.
