You can contact your midwife, however I’m currently the same and was advised to just drink plenty of fluids and stay and bed. The only thing I was told I can take is paracetamol 🙄
yes I assumed that I would be told something like that , my issue is I need to stop google-ing as just it always makes me overthink!
I am currently in your position and the cough is honestly trying to kill me, I spoke to my midwife as it hadn’t got any better/eased up. Turns out I have a really bad chest infection so I’m now on antibiotics. I’m a worrier hence I spoke to doctors. My intent is not to worry you but to let you know to reach out isntnwasting their time at all. If it will reassure you xx
@Lauren I’m going to keep my eye on it for couple of days and see how I am and if it’s not gotten any better then call them. Apparently when your pregnant colds last longer too and feel worse but I feel it’s definitely more than a cold as my body is so achy and sore
I’m 26+2 I’ve had the same I had 2weeks of it felt awful ect i used nasal inhalers from chemist and hold blocked nose hold ect has gone I still got a slight chesty cough but apart From that it’s gone by itself but of course if ur worried id call midwife maybe for some advice x
