Easy pregnancy

I'm 40 weeks in a couple days and have had zero signs of labor. Not even braxton hicks. Baby still moving around plenty. I'm a FTM so I know it's common to go over term. Has anyone else had a easy end of pregnancy? The general consensus ive gotten from family and friends is how awful it gets towards the end. I don't feel that at all. I've gained about 12lbs and my belly is not very large. Dr says I'm normal and healthy. Believe me I'm very grateful as I've heard some hard stories from other moms. Has anyone felt or is feeling the same?

I had an easy pregnancy right till the end. No signs of labour until my water broke at 39 weeks

Average is 41+3 for ftm, so don’t worry. I had a very easy pregnancy, and walked several kilometers a day until the end. I recommend to do some exercise that helps the baby to get into the right position etc

Both my pregnancies were easy and I felt like I could have kept going. 40wks and 41wks 2 days. I had to be induced for second! Definitely get the walking in to get baby into optimal position. Also hear it may help with speeding up labour. All the best!

I had a pretty manageable pregnancy all the way through. The last 3 weeks I finally “felt” pregnant lol I gained nearly 40lbs, and I work on my feet so I was tired and sore a lot. I’m also small so I was running out of space in my midsection so even sitting was starting to get uncomfortable. I’d still consider my pregnancy easy tho. I worked out the entire time, never got morning sickness, never had any complications or medical issues, I never noticed a dip in my energy until the very very end, went into spontaneous labor at 39 weeks and my daughter arrived 8 hrs after I checked in to the hospital!

I went till 42+2, no signs of labour or even cervix ripening till 42 weeks lol I was lucky like you and didn’t mind being pregnant. If you’re not uncomfortable now you’ll be fine for the last few days or weeks, enjoy it and relax as much as you can, you’ll be meeting your baby soon!

Sameish. Induced at 41 weeks. 12 hour labor but only 5 minutes pushing.

My first was easier. I didn’t feel anything and when I went in for my induction I was 4cm dilated and pretty much ready to go.

I’ve heard first time moms go over their term! I was induced at 39 weeks + 4 days and definitely do not plan to do that again lol. End of pregnancy wasn’t hard for me I just felt tired a lot. You are very lucky though about your weight gain though! I gained 50 pounds 😩 I didn’t have a complicated pregnancy, but I honestly was sick of being pregnant! Cause I got tired of having a big belly, mine was huge

I had a fairy easy pregnancy. Wasn't too sick at the start. The worse it got was with the rib pain and the hip pain towards the end with trying to sleep on my side. I had an active job and really struggled towards the end with being on my feet and back pain. Plus baby had been head down since 20weeks and often pressed on a nerve in my back that sent out shooting pain. But anyways I had a sweep at 40+4. 9hrs from waters breaking to baby being born. Not sure if baby would still have come at that time without the sweep or come later.

With my first I had an easy pregnancy other than the usual feeling uncomfortable at the end and fed of up being pregnant! I didn't ever have Braxton hicks and literally no signs of labour until it was actually happening but I was 11 days overdue!

I didnt feel too bad physically before i gave birth. Just had a few stressful moments in the last month
