@Nesha thank you for sharing this I've been signed off sick (4 weeks) by my work due to pregnancy stress and work stress combined and I think you're right that sometimes we need time out when we're overwhelmed and stressed/ to remove those things that tip us over the edge. I'm trying to be kind to myself amongst it all but it's been tough and I'm finding it hard to not feel like I have to go back to work soon even though I don't really feel ready or well enough to.
I’m glad you managed to get signed off from work. I got signed of for 3 weeks and I really needed it just to figure out what the hell just happened!!!! Take your time don’t rush to get back to work go back when you’re ready you need to deal with the emotions of your loss not work.
After my miscarriage I got overwhelmed, stressed and anxiety. I had to have blood works done found out my thyroid was high. The doctors didn’t want to put me on thyroid medicine just yet they said you need to bring it back down quickly or it will effect your TTC journey. They gave me 3 months to sort it out before they checked my bloods and prescribe be with medicine. They suggested to exercise more frequently and reduce stress (at this point I had a stressful job role I managed to change jobs in a few months),ate healthy home cooked foods, took prenatal. I checked my bloods again and my thyroid went back down to normal and felt more relaxed and less stressed. It’s easier to say to someone don’t stress but it’s not as simple, sometimes we need to forcefully remove the stresses from our life for things to work out and for me it was work.
