If you had pre-eclampsia or HELLP syndrome during your pregnancy or labor did you have it again in future pregnancies?

Comment if your dr told you future pregnancies would be automatically considered high risk or not.

I was told that the likely hood of getting or having it with a second pregnancy is high and that I may have to be induced early. I guess now they'll just keep a closer eye seeing as I didn't show any signs until I went to the hospital with chest pain (week 38) and was induced that day. All the tests from there on got worse and worse but thankfully all wound up just fine 🙏🏼❤️

Easier birth second time around

I've only had one pregnancy so far, but was told that I may be more likely to have pre-eclampsia again in the future (unless that was from my ex's genes since both genes play a role in that). I was also told that, because my baby had severe IUGR, I would get a growth scan around 30 weeks in future pregnancies to check on my baby's growth since that's when we noticed she was noticeably smaller than an average fetus.

I had pre eclampsia my first pregnancy, so with my second full term one, I was put on baby aspirin and sent for growth scans once a month. My second delivery was a breeze, but my blood pressure kept going up after delivery and we had to go back to the hospital like a week after my baby was born, because post partum pre eclampsia is a thing

I had HELLP at the end of 3rd pregnancy and they said it wasn’t guaranteed I would have it again but was more likely to. My 4th pregnancy I had preeclampsia and cholestasis at the same time and symptoms much sooner and more difficult to keep under control. It was a very rough pregnancy and was in and out of hospital frequently and still ended up having to be induced early again.
