Telling the outside world

Hi everyone! We just found out we are pregnant, we are around 4 weeks. What I wanted to find out was when you told anyone? We have decided to tell parents and siblings but no one else. My logic was that if we were to miscarry, those are probably the people we would tell anyway. But when did you tell the outside world?

My family no but friends I won't be telling anyone till the baby born x

I'm also 4 weeks. My best friend knows no one else right now. We are planning on telling my sister once I have a scan. My boss will havr to know at 8 weeks ad s i need time off for my appointment. Then family we physically see at Christmas. I won't be posting on social media or anything. We didn't do that with our first. So people would only know if they saw me in person.

We told family and best friends at 7 weeks after we had seen heartbeat. Xx

Thanks ladies. We have decided to tell our parents and siblings now and then the rest of the world in January. I am nervous about telling them but excited too.
