I have always heard your second comes faster xx
First induced at 41+1. Second spontaneous at 39+4
First at 38+2, second at 41+3
My first was born at 41 weeks, my second at 40+1 day. I did go into labor the night of my due date and had her in the early morning
My daughter was born at 36 weeks 4 days. I'm 27 weeks pregnant right now, doctor is already concerned that my son is going to come early like his sister. Is even ordering an extra ultrasound/growth appointment because she is worried he's going to pop out early.
I'm only on my second, and I'll likely get cholestasis again and need to induce, but my sister's two came at completely different gestations, both on their own
Statistically, second babies come earlier. Mine did. First was 11 days late Second was 4 days late
First was practically right on time second was 41 and 3 but potentially could have been longer as I was induced
First was born at 40+6 and second 40+5, both spontaneous labours 😊
I was induced with my first at 41.2, went into spontaneous labour with my second at 39.4
My first I went naturally into labour right on 36 weeks and my second I had to be induced at 39+5 weeks.
My first was born at 39+6 and my second was born at 41+1
My first came spontaneously at 39+3 and my second came spontaneously at 39+1! I had read somewhere that, on average, second babies come two to three days before what your first baby came at. Which is exactly what happened to me!
My second came faster. Labour was quicker. Not earlier. I had first at 38+6, second was 42w and third baby come smack bang on his EDD w labour a day before. My second was quickest labour at 8hrs w baby 1 at 24hrs and baby 3 at 27hrs. So no not for me. I was not induced for any they’re all spontaneous vaginals

Actually yes. I went into labor with my first at 39+3 and had her at 2am on 39+5. Then my second I had a membrane sweep halfway through 38 weeks and went into labor at 39+6 and had a fast 4 hour labor. Idk what would have happened though with the second if I didn't have a membrane sweep.
@Helen this is what I thought!
@Jodi interesting. I dont think I've heard of the second coming later!
@Kacey oh wow! A 4 hour labor sounds so nice. I hope i have a shorter one. My first was 36 hours 🙃
First went for induction at 41+6, second arrived by herself at 41. First labor was 10h with 3.5 hours of pushing, second 4.5 hours and 4-5 pushes and she was out
First came naturally at 40+3 (long labour) second was induced at 41 weeks, super fast. I think she was too comfortable because it only took breaking my waters for her to get a move on
42 weeks with my first and 43 weeks with my second! Hoping this baby will be closer to my due date!
1st - Spontaneous 36 Weeks.🩷 2nd - Spontaneous 40+5 Weeks.🩷
I hope not 😂 first was born at 39+1 second is due 2nd Jan so if I go around the same time it'll be perfectly inline with Christmas
@Kaelyn he did not wanna come out and he was bigger than my first and my first was big 😂
First at 38, second at 41
My first 2 arrived 3 days after their due dates. My 3rd baby, on his due date
My first was born naturally at 38 weeks and my second was induced at 39 weeks, so no clue when he would've come on his own. Most people I've known personally have had at least a week or so in either direction between when their babies were born, but it is definitely very possible to have them around the same time. I've never heard that it's particularly common though
