No you dont have GD , My numbers was 125 & 99 and I didnt have it
Looks like you are joining the club of GD. I have it as well. You'll probably get a call sometime next week to discuss next steps and getting a meter etc. It sounds worse than it is. I promise it's manageable once you get the hang of it The reddit page for gestational diabetes is a good source of information fyi Edit: Am I reading it wrong ? Bc it says 160 for 1 hour, 160 2 hours. And 124 3 hours which are all high readings and not within the range
I didn’t have the finger prick but had my blood taken, my number was 129 and my Dr said that was in the normal range, hope this helps.
If 2 or more results come back as high they classify it as a fail.
@Theodora you’re reading it correctly. She failed the 3 hour because all of her blood draws were over the normal range.
If I didn’t fail mine with numbers wayyyyy higher than yours there’s no way you failed yours lol but don’t work yourself up trying to read it. Wait for the doctor to call and confirm. You don’t want to misinterpret it and then you start worrying.
Yeah babes, i think you failed. But it’s great that you did so you will get some extra attention so baby hopefully doesn’t need sugar water when born.
I had it the first pregnancy and look at the positive now you will see your baby every 4 weeks until the end as most dr’s want growth scans done when you have GD so unlike normal pregnancy where you might get 2 or 3 total you get one every month until baby comes
If the range is 70-105 for the three hour test like you posted and yours is 82 you are within the range and it’s normal
