Nursery
My baby girl is 11 months, I wanted to put her in a nursery in January. I have applied for the government funding of 15 hours and have been accepted. I went to view a nursery today and was surprised that I have to still pay £400 a month and a joining fee of £100. I was just wondering if there our any nurseries that just take government funding, as I’m a single mum living on my own I just can’t afford that each month.

Most nurseries in Dartford are private so you end up paying extra 😢
Yes, sounds about right, this is what I pay for my son for 2 days + government funding. Check childminders I think that works much cheaper xx

That seems really high ? Is that just one day a week? My daughter does 3 days and it’s £670. Don’t forget it’s only term time too so if you’re doing every week the 15 hours gets stretched
