I would try signing in with your email and then do "forget password" and then reset the password to sign in and look at the name they used when they created the account.

@Ashley smart but it’s not working 4 me

Click the email address and see if it’s even tinder. I get Amazon emails about my order but when I click on it, it’s not even an Amazon email. Just a scam hoping they get people to log in and give up details. If you don’t have tinder, it won’t be tinder.

Be wary. These scams use fake links to take your data, you aren’t even on the correct site. They take your name, dob, email, address, preferred password, anything you give.

@Sarah it was tinder. It kept saying like couldn’t load but then i clicked the link third time saying it wasn’t me then it said it was going to remove my email from account, but how do i now know if someone is impersonating me or not?

@Sarah yea i used to work in certain security aware spaces, i looked up tinder in my email just to make sure the email it came from matched my tinder emails (from previous accounts)

Did you have it years ago? It could be an email to see if you want to verify your account. I closed my account 8 years ago and have never received an email from them since though.

it’s an email bc someone was trying to use my information. Please let me know if there are more ways to see if my photos are being used for fake accounts or what can i do

You can do a reverse image search on your image. Lock down all you social media if you have them so no one you don’t know can take photos off your accounts. You could contact tinder privately to raise concerns that you’ve had suss emails and suspect your old account has been hacked and your image is being used.
