Glucose Testing PSA!

I’m due at the very end of January so I’m sure most of you have already done glucose testing. However if you haven’t, I learned today that you should try to schedule it as early in the morning as you can! I failed the one hour test (glucose level was 143 after a 50g dose glucose drink) and my appointment was at 4:00pm. Today I went in for the three hour test at 7:45am and passed perfectly! At one hour my glucose level was 112 after a 100g dose glucose drink and as I fasted for both tests, I think it’s safe to say that testing in the morning produces the most accurate result. So if you failed the one hour and need to retest or haven’t tested at all yet, I highly recommend you schedule it as early as possible!
