I suffered with it too this pregnancy bad and I'm actually 30 lol wonder if age plays a role. I lost a lot of weight and put off meds until 14 weeks. What helped me was keeping like gram crackers handy and like lots of cold water at all times. It was a challenge for me to shower or function or even wash my hair cause every little thing and smell would trigger me. Peppermint and lavender oil thru a diffuser can help not a lot but just enough can help. Jolly ranchers helped me, the green ones especially. They also make preggie pops and drops they worked for me my first pregnancy. But after 14 weeks I started taking zofran 4mg and it took the edge off and i still take it every day and I'm 37 weeks I miss one day and it's like I'm done I'm gonna be sick. So yeah I recommend that. It is constipating tho and it makes u drowsy so be careful. I find colace 4x a day and miralax occasionally works. Also humming to yourself works too. Hope this helps 🙏 feel better
@Lindsay I honestly considered it but CBD has made me nauseous pre-pregnancy so nervous it will be even worse. 😩
@Ashley thank you for all the suggestions! I’m taking 8mg of zofran twice a day and it still doesn’t help. 😩 hoping it subsides soon!
Xonvea worked best for me for meds. Electrolyte drinks helped and mashed potatoes were a safe food. I hope it improves and you get enough help. Regular IV fluids also helped me stay hydrated 🤗
Suffering with this currently it's absolutely awful I understand. I sip full fat flat lemonade to get the calories plus that's all I can actually drink and it has to be ice cold. Food wise I no its hard but I try and think of something that doesn't make me want to puke that day I have these soup packets clear soup u add hot water those have worked or fries. I eat Yoghurt is another. I hope you feel better soon myself included 🙏🤞
I've also been given some medication its hit and miss but makes u tired it's called cyclizine
BTW my doctor suggested the full fat lemonade & to focus on the hydration surprisingly I managed to put on weight with the lemonade.
I’ve been taking -B6 vitamins -Daily nexium 20mg -zofran as needed (makes me constipated 😖) -maxalon as needed -nighttime half of a restavit -even used the nausea wrist bands. Not one thing is magic. I’m 26 weeks tomorrow and it is still happening all the time but maybe just slightly better than a couple of weeks ago. Last I checked 7kg of weight loss for me too. I’m too scared to jump on scales again atm. Baby will be sucking in all the nutrients. Mine is growing well without concern. Main thing I think is we gotta keep hydrated so do whatever you can and try sip fluids all day! Hoping it passes for us all asap!!!! Good luck!
I know some may consider it taboo but have you tried cannabis? They make CBD tinctures and gummies that help with nausea …. Might be worth a try if you’ve tried everything else…
