Sick Baby

So dilemma here we just had a cold super simple cold he was a champ and just had sniffles and congestion after that kinda cleared up he now has a little cough going on just want recommendations if anything i should do . I guess it’s normal after a cold a lingering cough . I deferred his two month vaccines and don’t want to go in and have them push me to give them to him when he still has a cold i don’t want them in general but i wasn’t a second opinion about this cough. Its only been two days . Hes eating great and sleeps great not stuffy breathing great. No fever Hes 14 weeks tho .

Shots would make him worse and compromise his immune system further. At the very least, they can't help him right now as they're meant to be "preventative". If you're concerned for your baby don't hesitate to take him in. Just be strong with your wishes. It sounds like he's just got a little bug and I personally would give it a few more days before getting too worried!

If you’re nursing, keep it up! Breastmilk has antibodies and is the best thing for them, especially if they’re fighting something. Otherwise, just making sure he’s hydrated and getting sleep, which it sounds like he is, then he’ll get over it soon!
