Help

I’m not sure on what to do with this on my sons foot. He never lets me touch it. He’s had it a while and now it’s a little worse.

Are they anywhere else ?

Looks like a bite that might be infected - worth getting him checked out xx

Not sure you id can send a picture to his doctor but that might be a good idea.

Has it got fluid in it? Is it a wart?

I would see pharmacist tomorrow

Does he have more than one? How long has he had it for? Has he has anymore pop? Not to scare you but my little guy had something similar all in his diaper area that started as one spot and quickly multiplied to many.. my midwife swabbed a few and it came back as a staph infection. Antibiotics were obviously required and it cleared up almost immediately!

We had a similar thing on my little one’s finger. It was dead skin cells stuck under the skin - we got a GP to look at it as I was concerned it wasn’t going away. It felt hard to touch rather than like a spot/filled with pus. Due to location on her finger we got referred to a Dermatologist (GP wanted to freeze it off but just wanted a second opinion). A few weeks later it got bigger and popped on its own - I rang the GP back who prescribed an antiseptic cream. It hasn’t come back. I would get a GP to look at it just to be sure x

@Georgette no just the one on his foot x

@Amy I was thinking that but it’s gone a little green so now I’m thinking more a spot that’s now maybe infected x

@Amanda he just has this one on his foot. He’s had it a while say maybe a few weeks but it was more like a white colour. I thought it was a little lump like a scar at first from him having so many cannula in when born but now it’s a little green but I’m hoping to try and get out to a pharmacy tomorrow x

@Emma maybe my boy has the same thing. It’s hard to touch and doesn’t feel like it would pop. Im going to try and see a pharmacy tomorrow to see what they think if need to I’ll book an appointment with gp on Monday x

Monitor body temperature, make sure he is Is drinking fluids . Needs GP / pharmacist review may need antibiotics.

Maybe impetigo? Would need antibiotics. I would get seen asap as you don’t want infection worsening. Keep it clean as best you can until then.

My first thought was splinter ??? Only bc it’s on the foot and maybe been there awhile and getting infected? Idk .. let’s us know when you find out

this is EXACTLY what my sons foot looked like when he had a tiny tiny shard of glass in it

Possibly wart? They require freezing off, pharmacy will help :)

I have been to a pharmacy today and they weren’t sure but they didn’t think it was a wart but to try putting a plaster on it to draw it out. I’m thinking of getting him seen my ba doctor if this doesn’t resolve it x

The gp will get a magnifying type eye glass thing and look in it ❤️❤️
