Almost 4 and still wants to go in a pushchair

Okay so my son is almost 4 and still likes to go in his pushchair even if it’s just to quickly pop in to a shop, he’s a really active kids doesn’t stop moving but whenever we are going shopping he always asks to go in the pushchair. Is anyone else’s child the same? One of my husbands friends stopped us whilst we were out shopping and said “ohh you have a lazy one” but he’s not lazy as he never stops at home but now I’m thinking it’s not normal he still wants to use a pushchair

I wouldn’t worry. If it works for you and it works for him, then use it as long as it’s convenient. He probably sees it as part of his routine, and it’s not to do with how far he can walk. We stopped using ours quite early cause I preferred not to have to take the pram everywhere..but it involves carrying him from time to time. I’m sure I’ve seen 5 year olds in prams. If he’s getting enough exercise elsewhere then it doesn’t matter.
