I didn't get a chance to think about it. I got pregnant again at 3 months pp. That being said, i feel like you're never not going to feel like that, and he will love his sibling!
Me and the ex personally waited until our 1st was almost 3 before trying again, as the childcare cost was just too much. I think 3 years is a good age gap personally, as it gives you time to enjoy your little one!
We knew we wanted two close together, I had a straightforward delivery and so we started trying at 9/10 months pp. took us 9 months to conceive. They are 27 months apart and it’s a fantastic age gap! We love it.
We are in a similar boat. I’m 34, mine is about to be 3 months. We wanted more than one and close in age. My ob said to wait at least 6 months before trying because I had a c section. But because of my age and we want them close in age, we are going to try when we can. His mom thinks I’ll be pregnant in the summer. Idk why she thinks that but she was right w my first. 🤷♀️
Always wanted 2 but after the first one I’m thinking a bigger age gap might help me save my sanity.
We had a 2.5 year age gap and it was perfect
I went from one and done to after a couple of months really considering another and then at 6 months I was certain. At a year I just knew I was ready to go again which shocked me as I’d never expected to want another and not close together! I just knew and felt like that’s how it should be. My partner was more neutral but also that year mark was key for him too. It felt like I’d been a parent long enough but also we weren’t having to go way back to the start say when I was 40.
As soon as baby number 1 came out I wanted another one. Even though I had a traumatic birth I found having a baby such a privilege. I also believe having a sibling is the best thing in the world and want my baby to have a brother or a sister to walk through life together and support each other Physically, I will probably wait 18 months as per guidelines because I had a section and don't want to push my body before it's ready for it
