There are also 5 stages of being engaged, do you know what stage you are at? But yeah unfortunately you can stay at one stage for weeks so not way of telling 😭 but it’s still exciting as baby is doing what they need to do!
Baby was engaged 3/5 at my previous midwife appointment and when I went back they weren’t engaged anymore. Unfortunately it’s just a positioning of baby and won’t give any signs of how long away labour is
They told me I was -1 today but I’ve been in what doctor said was very beginning stages of labour for almost a month by now like contractions start I even dilate etc but then it goes away and the next time they check I’m not dilated as much or at all as the days before —- it’s soooo annoying I’m tired 😵💫😵💫the pains are worst at night & so I just haven’t been able to sleep at all 😭 some doctors say oh you’re almost there & others are like might but be until almost Xmas 😭😭😭 it’s also confusing bc I got several due dates & the sonnagram one is almost two weeks behind the others tho he’s measuring normally for all of them basically (nov 28-dec11 are the ones I’ve been given…
Weeks for me… it’s not a sign labour is just around the corner unfortunately
