Discord? Is it for cheating, let's be real

I’ve only heard of it in the context of video games

I use it for trading on monopoly go which is a game. You can message people but I don’t know about video calls.

Discord does video, audio, text etc; and you can stream games easily. The other big draw besides team speak is the ability to find public or private servers for shared interests. It isn't terribly easy to just find random users, but once in a shared server, you can add people from that server fairly easily. I have a couple of shared interest servers plus some private ones for chat with close friends. We have voice channels in the server but only use it while gaming. Otherwise it's just kind of a group chat.

There are servers for literally everything. I'm an author and use it for a lot of writing feedback exchange and networking with other authors/people in the publishing industry, and also am in a parenting support/community server. You can do text and video calls but you can also use it for a million other things. I've never heard of it being particularly popular to use to cheat but it's possible to cheat using any social media. I wouldn't be suspicious purely because he has Discord in and of itself

my so and i use discord to join video game groups and talk to gaming friends or j other communities even from peanut there are a couple servers im in. never used to for personal i.e cheating or romance.

Lmao no. Discord is used by gamers. Often clans create group chats where all the members are gathered together and have access to helpful information such as guides, clan competitions and so on. I bet he started a new game. I personally have a pokemon clan and our members mandatory have to use Discord so that when we make clan events or competitions everyone can be informed with just 1 message. It’s just easier than in game chat.

@Victoria O pls just because your man wasn’t faithful doesn’t mean the app is for that. If a man wants to cheat he can use any app or chat in existence. There’s a difference between a dating app/website like let’s say plenty of fish and a gamers app.
