Pregnant a year later

Exactly what happened to me! Crash section for first daughter, found out 2 days before she turned 1 I was pregnant again, had a planned section for 2nd! It was great, really calm and enjoyable! They are 10 and 9 now and get on great! Good luck xx

I have a 1 year old and 5 month old. Emergency section with my first. Planned section with my second but ended in emergency. Discuss all your options with them. You can have a VBAC if you want to try it but they go through the risks with you when you discuss it with them. It’s up to you what you want to do, they can just advise x

I got pregnant just before my daughter’s 1st birthday so there’s 20 months between my 2. My first was an emergency c section and I chose an elective c section for my second and had absolutely no push back. I just had to have an appointment with the birth options clinic to go over the risks etc

I got pregnant when my wee boy was 5 month (wasn’t planned) I was cleared for a vbac as it was over 12 months Ended up having to stop balloon induction as baby turned transverse. Everyone I met was ok with it and nice to me except one midwife who said sly digs! Baby stopped growing at 36 weeks but drs said no reason to believe that’s because it was close x

I got pregnant about 10 days after my daughter turned 1, and currently 34 weeks pregnant! It's tough being pregnant with a little toddler, but hopefully you have a supportive partner who can help you a little bit more rest.

I’m currently pregnant with my second and once he’s born they’ll be 18 months apart. Usually the doctor would recommend the c section if it’s this close apart due to the risks for you. I was told that due to the uterus lining maybe being thinner natural birth wouldn’t be recommended and a c section would be safer. Talk to your obstetrician at your appointment about that babe.
