Probably a stupid question

So we’re going to a family members dinner and they’ve decided to go to a Chinese place for dinner. Can my very nearly 15 month old eat this please? He doesn’t have an allergy to nuts or fish and won’t be eating shellfish obviously! I thought to just get him some rice with peas and some chicken satay as he loves our home cooked one! And I’m going to bring him some veggies too! Annoyingly the place we’re going to doesn’t do a kids menu

Salt is your biggest issue, there is a LOT of salt in Chinese food!

As Natalie has said there is lotsssss of salt in Chinese. Personally I wouldn’t be comfortable with letting my LO eat it so young I’d bring something from home - I’m sure the Chinese wouldn’t mind with him being so young x

Took my daughter to a Chinese buffet last month and she DEMOLISHED everything I gave her. One night of salt is really not going to do any damage

Thank you all I let him have a little bit and packed him some fruit and veg too it was the tiniest amount he ate and he’s been in hospital for 5 days with hospital food so thought I’d spoil him today😅 he only had plain boiled rice and a little bit of my chicken satay literally half a chunk of my chicken so barely any salt

Sorry but why no shellfish ?

@Louma honestly I didn’t know they could have it now, I’ve just googled it and they just can’t have it raw or lightly cooked🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
