The reviews are all from America so I’m really unsure an they were saying it doesn’t connect properly
I chose not to as I heard too many stories about it going off by accident, I think I would have been so stressed
I’ve head a lot of stories about false alarms and I think it would give me too much anxiety (my brother used one for his daughter and said they stopped bc of how many false alarms they were getting!) we use the snuza hero md though xx
@Evie how do you find the snuza I was also looking at this one. I’m extremely anxious and I don’t think I will sleep when my baby arrives that’s why I wanted something to reassure me. Is it difficult to attach
@Sarah I love it!! It’s so easy to use and attaches really easy!! It just clips onto the nappy 😁 we have had a handful of false alarms but NEVER one when he’s sleeping they’ve only ever happened when he’s awake in our arms which makes me think it’s me holding him that has knocked the clip off. I feel reassured to know he has something on him and it’s never given a sleep false alarm. It has a feature that vibrates after 20 seconds no movement to try wake baby and then an alarm will sound if no movement but thankfully so far we haven’t had this actually happen we’ve tested it though xx
@Sarah I’ve used it every night since my son was born in September xx
@Evie thanks so much for this, is it easy enough to attach when your changing nappies or does it need resetting
@Sarah funny you ask this because it’s something I’ve figured out since having it! You’ll need to take it off for a nappy change and if you set it to the side you’ll need to turn it off for the change (learnt the hard way 🫣) and then switch it back on when the clean nappies on and reclaip it on (it’s very easy to do) however we’ve recently discovered that you don’t need to switch it off if you can hold it whilst doing the nappy change! As long as it’s detecting movement it’s fine 😁 but when I first had my son he is my first baby so I was abit slower at changing nappies so used to set it to the side but now he’s abit older I do them quick so got used to holding it whilst changing him! If you do forget to switch it off when you’ve set it to the side and the alarm does goes off it’s very easy to reset again to attach back to baby xx
@Evie thanks so much for all this information it’s good to know. I was just worried having something attached to near the tummy x
Iv heard false readings with the owlet sock we opted for the nanit pro had it a year now it’s fab!
Does this Nanit pro track breathing
Yes times respirations and temp of room and humidity Sends an alarm if they stop breathing but we havnt had a false reading!
It also plays white noise/ wind and a few others from the camera in babies room
@Clairissa do you have to pay a subscription for it? There’s 3 different ones and I’m not sure which one to buy if they come with the monitor thing

No so that’s what put us off getting it at the start but our subscription has run out now after the year we can still use the app as normal just can’t see snippets from a few hrs ago or go back to watch where there was movement say yesterday
We got the first one the floor standing one as I didn’t want baby pulling to down once she was older
It’s ai tracked so as long as the band is on it tracks baby’s resps, I think we only got a 0-3m band with our pack and bought a bigger one separate once she grew out of it but loads sell them on Vinted
@Clairissa would you know why some our more expensive
Think it just depends on the stand?
My friend uses it and she swears by it says it’s worth every penny she’s convinced me to order one
