S3x schedules?

So my doctor said to take Clomid on day 5, and after on day 7,8,9 do the s3x lol, starting from the last day of Clomid. But I kinda follow my ovulation schedule on my period app and positive lh tests. So we kinda do it everyday of ovulation week. And will be on round 3 of Clomid the first two rounds we did not conceive. are we doing it wrong. Cuz people say don’t do it everyday, some say everyday… etc…
