It’s really hard to get excited but you can definitely talk to your OB about a few more peace of mind scans & see if they can do that for you. I’ve done that & my OB was more than happy to do that for me knowing my previous losses.
Girl 😭 the time is going by so slow but I try to keep busy & do 2 walks a day with some music
Everyone is different and you'll know when you feel ready to start buying. We only really bought clothes up until this last week so 16 weeks for us to by anything substantial after previous loss
i waited until the 20 week scan x
I started probably around 8 weeks with second had bits as they are not easy to find sometimes. Big purchases I left way too last minute, I'm not very proud of it
I started at around 17 weeks but I was given a load of stuff second hand before that from my sisters in law. However I was looking at baby stuff in shops before that
@Monae when did you go for your first scan and how many did you ask for after that to help with the anxiety? 💕
I went for my first scan at 6 weeks & 4 days , #2 at 9 weeks on the dot , #3 at 11 weeks on the dot & currently my 4th is this Monday at 12 weeks & 5 days. I just asked if it’s possible for monitoring baby if possible because of previous losses ( I’ve had 3 ). She told me it would be fine with no issue. I didn’t ask for a specific number of scans. She scheduled all my appointments in advanced as well.

I totally understand. I’ve also had a few losses but gonna be 13 weeks next week on Wednesday. I’m waiting on to do my 12w scan which is 2 days before I hit 13 weeks & once I hear that goes well I’m gonna start shopping ! I think I let myself get excited the closer I got to 12 weeks
