Why are restaurants so obsessed with removing the trays from high chairs??

Its driving me mad! Self feeding is near impossible as 80% ends up on the floor without the tray! Not all high chair users are 2 years old 🙄 anyone else hate this too or am I just the grinch today

Yes I agree with you 100% Where is the rest of it!!!!?

100% 🤦🏼‍♀️

With you! It drives me mad!

Yep very annoying, if it helps I bought a silicone table mat for the baby which can just roll out on the table for him, it works well for us

I find if you ask they usually have them in the back but it also drives me mad or when they don’t clean them 🤢 I wipe them down before and after I have to use them

I totally agree. Those high chairs are only good for 2 years +.

I bought a foldable one you can clip on to any chair and it has a tray.

@Adele do you have the link at all?

https://amzn.eu/d/dS2tU5x I never pull out the legs as feels unstable. But when it’s flat it works great on the floor eg picnics / bbqs and then attaches to chairs in restaurants / cafes. I keep it in the boot of my car and then put it under the pram when I know we’re going to use it.

We took it on holiday too as it fitted ok in a suitcase

Lots of people sell them on fb marketplace
