Baby Milk / Formula for Hospital

I’m not due until 14th January, but I have been told where baby is engaged and where my Iron levels are extremely low, I may be induced early. When is everyone buying milk? Both formula and powder?

I bought some a couple months ago, it has a good shelf life so any time now is fine

i braught some of the pre made bottles that they recommend to take in a couple of weeks ago and it’s good till may 2025 xx

Kendamil pre-made bottles . I will be breastfeeding when my milk comes in and expressing

@elysia I was thinking buying them now ready, but didn’t know if they’d still be okay! What milk is it your using hun?x

@Abbie Yeah I’ll be using it aswell. Kendamil is great, I used it with my first as I mainly used formula with his and had no issues.

@Abbie i’m using kendamil! it was on offer at superdrug and the date was may 2025 so defo keep an eye out as they seem to keep putting it on offer at the moment xx

I have 1 tin of powder for now incase baby doesn’t take to that milk and 1 pack of ready made for the hosp that have a date on until end of may next year x

@Abbie also try the one you can always get hold of if you can! When I bought these the other day I was out and about shopping and 2 Asdas and Morrisons closer to me only had cow & gate fully stocked up, 1 Asda had a couple of SMA and non of them had kendamil or aptamil x
