Hiking baby clothes

Hi! Looking for recommendations for good warm waterproof clothes to start going on longer hikes with my 7 month old, we live in Scotland. She has some nice merino wool underlayers but everything I’ve seen as warm insulated outerwear is very expensive, wondering if anyone found good cheaper brands?

Following this post as looking for same advice 🙂. Scotland has amazing hikes

We had a muddy puddles fleece & rain coat at that age. Polarn & pretty also does great stuff. I’d see what you can find second hand. Polarn has their own second hand website. I mostly buy off of vinted. If you but top & bottoms instead of a one piece/jumpsuit, they tend to fit for longer. I think they’ve overpriced this. But sharing because this is the one we bought for my 6 month old.

We love Polarn. They have a sale on until end of today I think? Expensive but the quality is amazing. Our little one hasn’t grown so fast so we’ve had his coat over a year now (age 1-2).

2nd vote for Polarn O Pryet snow suit. We did Midhope castle to Blackness Castle outside of Edinburgh today and it was perfect. I find all kinds of great quality stuff of Vinted
