Periods - heavy!

Sorry if I’m repeating this question but I can’t find any old posts! I breastfed for probably the first 8 weeks mixed with formula but my babies tongue tie was so bad and we were both in and out of hospital it just wasn’t possible. My first period was the end of October and was very heavy which I expected for the first one. My second started on Saturday and I am bleeding through pads in about 2 hours each time… I don’t remember this with my first at all but I didn’t start my period then till about 6/7 months after birth. Anyone else going through the same or can tell me it won’t stay like this?!

Same here. First period was heavy and long. Second one very painful. I think body needs a bit more to adjust and hoping third one will be good one

Praying! I can’t live with them this heavy! Every time I move it feels like my waters have broken, like I can feel it pouring… horrible feeling! Feel for you with pain 😢

Had this after my first child - was literally so bad I was wearing adult nappies with a huge pad inside as well just so I wouldn’t leak every where and changing the same as you, every 1 - 2 hours. I had it for 6 months, until I got pregnant again and was thinking of talking to my GP about it but just never got around to it. If they continue to be heavy definitely worth getting it checked I would think.
