Mine lives off cheese and crackers and fruit 😂😂
Mines is fruit and biscuits. I dunno if her last set of teeth are coming in 🤷♀️🤔 at least their eating something. Also as long as pees and poos are still coming then I think it's fine 🙂
Mine mainly lives off breadsticks, cereal bars and pizza 🤦♀️ annoyingly didn’t like homemade breadsticks but thankfully likes homemade pizza with hidden veg 🙌. He also runs around demanding chicken curry 😂😂😂
my girl is the exact same! i was thinking of posting here too as i was so worried, she’s been living off cheese & broccoli or chicken and mushroom pasta, cereal and chocolate chip brioche, everything else that she loved she just won’t touch at the minute it’s driving me mad!! i’ve managed to get her to have the odd bite of her tea but not much more, hopefully just a phase cos my anxiety can’t deal lol, nappies are still fine too so 🤞🏽
Yuuupp toast and fruit based diet over here too 🫠
The health visitors used to say to me to look at a week’s perspective not a daily basis on what they eat. If they’re eating enough and not losing weights then bread and fruits are fine to live on. It’s only if when they refuse to eat anything, especially any liquids, then that’s when you need to worry about. It’s a phase, they’ll eventually get bored of that repetitive eating and will want something else. Try offering food as a choice I.e. toast or porridge, toast or rice and chicken, toast or pasta - another way is to just cook two things, one that they’ll definitely have and another being something new and put them out on their table. You’ll need to eat the same thing that you are serving them, it can encourage them to try something new more.
Same here . All of a sudden it’s a “no” to everything now , loves nuggets and cheese thou
100%! We can literally only bank on toast, banana and egg. Porridge for breakfast - the rest is a crapshoot!
Same here living off the same foods on rotation. It’s a fussy age and it lasts a while unfortunately but they’ll eat when their hungry and as long as their drinking water too when their out of the phase they’re gannets. I have a nearly 6 yo too so this is round 2 for fussy 2 yo eating lol
We've come on holiday and I thought great, a chance for him to maybe try some new foods as it's a lovely buffet restaurant at the hotel. So far he's eaten chips, cereal, watermelon, raisins and pasta 🙈
And of course the packets of snacks I brought in the suitcase....
Thank you so much everyone, at least we’re not alone hah. She gets offered other food as well for each meal but in the end if she doesn’t touch it I’ll go back to what she eats so she has a full tummy as we’ve got rid of bottles. Hopefully it’s a faze for all of us!!🩷
Mine lives of steak pie and pesto gnocchi. It's a constant rotation no matter what else we try 😅 it's so frustrating when you make something and they won't even try to taste it 🙈
