Help! Can’t find information
This is so random but as we all know we’ve had this storm. Now one of the fence panels fell down last night and the rest of the fence fell down into my driveway about and hour ago, as far as I was aware because the “nice” looking side of the fence was on my side it’s my neighbours fence and they are responsible fixing it but they want me to contact our housing company to get the housing company to come out and fix it? I didn’t think they did that and I can’t find any information about it what so ever. Obviously now can’t call till Monday so just trying to gather information as wasn’t made aware of any fencing when I signed the contract

@Ailsa it’s a rental. My neighbours had to fight for one of the panels to be held up a few months back which they did but I don’t think they’ll replace this. I only ask because I cannot afford to replace a fence at all and to me it’s their fence and a few people have said it’s theirs but obviously I have no clue because I never got told😩 I’m going to phone on Monday to see what information they can give me
Is it a rental or owned? Either way, it'll be in the housing deeds, it can vary, it tends to be the right hand side but not always. We own half our left fence so any replacement is done jointly with our neighbour. If it's a housing association house, they'll let you know either way. (Sorry, not super helpful)
