My boy has never liked food and doesn't eat. Help 😭😭

I feel like such a failure 😪 I've been passed around like a parcel between GP and health visitors. Nobody seems to help. My boy is 11 months old and only drinks milk and is on his 9th centile on the graph. His weight and length aren't concerning, but he just doesn't like to eat. We have been weaning him since he was 5.5 months old and he has zero interest in food. He will scream when the spoon goes near him. I have noticed he has a sweet tooth like if I hand feed him bits of cake he will happily eat that. He won't eat vegetables or fruit pouches like elles Kitchen. Anybody else? I'm at wits end.

My baby eats just okay but not amazing. Have you tried baby led weaning? It took a long time for mine to accept the spoon but she likes to hand feed herself. Easy things like the baby melty puffs etc or pieces of toast can be a good place to start. Our go to is always yoghurt, if she eats nothing else she will have yoghurt! Sorry if you have tried these already. Do you offer food first or milk first? When we swapped to food first that really helped. How many bottles per day? What size? Could you reduce how many oz gradually?

Don't worry, I'm in the same boat. He's only actively wanted to eat about 5 times since 6 months, now he is 10 months. He is still gaining weight etc from breast milk so I'm not worried, what else can I do, I'm not going to force feed him 🤷🏻‍♀️ We have our 10 month developmental review next week so I'm expecting some concern from the HV but I have literally tried everything, purees, BLW, an hr after milk, instead of milk and offer food every single time (3-5 times a day) ... there is some improvement but very very small such as he is willing to put it in his mouth for a second but won't bite anything off🤣 In the end, I don't want to be the cause of any food aversions so if he doesn't want to eat then I will cross that bridge when it becomes a real health concern.

My little boy doesn’t really eat he’s been refered to speech and language x
