I have decided not to take it. The thing is we don't know the side effects of it. I can't risk it. Same with the covid vaccines after few years we are seeing that young people are having heart issues which have increased after covid vaccines. So I have decided not to take it and decided to limit the people coming to our house and avoid any kissing on the face. This is much easier rather thn risk the whole life.
Oh glad I’m not the only one, I’m very much on the fence too and feel it is risky we don’t know the full picture yet!
Ive had it 😊
Abrysvo (Pfizer) underwent extensive testing in clinical trials before receiving approval. Here’s a summary of the key studies and findings: For Pregnant Women (Maternal Immunization): • Study Name: MATISSE (Maternal immunization trial for RSV protection in infants). • Participants: ~7,400 pregnant women (administered at 24–36 weeks of gestation). • Findings: • Abrysvo reduced the risk of severe RSV-related lower respiratory tract illness in infants by 81.8% within the first 90 days of life, and by 69.4% through the first six months. • The vaccine was well-tolerated by pregnant women, with no significant safety concerns for either the mothers or their infants. Regulatory Approval Process: • Abrysvo was evaluated and approved by major regulatory agencies, including: • The US FDA in May 2023 (older adults) and August 2023 (maternal use). • The European Medicines Agency (EMA) in 2023.
The approvals were based on comprehensive data from these large-scale, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 3 trials. Post-Marketing Surveillance: As with all new vaccines, ongoing monitoring is in place to ensure continued safety and effectiveness during widespread use. These trials and subsequent regulatory reviews confirm that Abrysvo underwent rigorous testing before being approved for public use.
@Emma hey sorry for late reply just joined this group! Do you mind me asking if you felt ok after it? The Covid and flu ones floored me for a week and just don’t want to feel that bad again.
I’ve had it purely because I know so many babies with RSV at the moment and the parents look absolutely heartbroken xxx I had no problem or symptoms after the vaccine xx
I had it and no problems xx
I’ve had it and no side effects. Same with Covid and Flu jabs.
I had it and no side effects from the vaccine just usual sore arm where they jab, I declined the Covid as haven’t had one since the first initial 3! And I had the flu but was fine with that again only painful where the jab was xx
I haven’t had it yet I also have a 2 year old . I’m very on the fence about it , I’ve seen a lot of people have their babies early this year and can’t help wonder if it’s linked or not xxxx
