No sign of baby

I’m 39 weeks tomorrow and I’ve got no signs of baby coming. I had my 38 week midwife appointment today and measurements had gone down. I have already had the growth scan and baby is looking like she will be 8lb 9 already. I was really hoping she would be here before Christmas but that’s looking more and more unlikely. I won’t be able to get a sweep till after 40 weeks, this has been booked for 23rd. I don’t know what I can do to help move things along.

39+3 here and basically the same with no signs! Labour can come on quickly and spontaneously, so just do what you can to encourage baby - sit upright and forward wherever possible, use a ball if you’ve got one, lots of oxytocin (however you get it). Some women also swear by simply talking to baby and letting them know you’re ready - and right now I’ll give anything a go 🤭 x

Baby will come when they are ready as much as you'll hate to hear that. I tried everything and it didn't work. I was induced at 41 weeks in the end

Yeah I’m trying to keep moving to hopefully bring labour on. My midwife did say if I was to be induced it would be in the new year. I’m just worried if she keeps getting bigger I will end up needing a c section

40+5 and I am still waiting 😣 it’s so depressing! Hoping she comes before Friday xx

This was me but my waters broke this morning about 6am with no warning so you never know when it will happen! I had no signs prior either , so try and stay positive , although easier said than done xx

i had no signs of baby coming too so i went for a long walk one evening even tho it made me so sore, ate chilli food and had pineapple then went into labour that night and gave birth the next day, think the long walk did it for me
