I peeled the banana for her but it actually sounded like I murdered everyone she loved ๐
My son loves fruit. He's always loved fruit since he was a baby. He likes strawberries, bananas, apples, oranges, blueberries. Any fruit you can think of
He cracked the shits at his Gma last week because he wanted his blueberries โlike thatโ. Meaning straight out of the freezer, icy, frozen. She proceeded to rinse it under cold water to defrost it, and he cracked it and ran to me and said โGma washed my blueberries! I told her I wanted it like that!!!โ Lolol. He eats his blueberries, peas and corn โlike thatโ. Frozen. A whole bowl. ๐
@Neisa same here. The fruit drama started with baby led weaning when we would let him gnaw on a mango seed but it was too slippery for him to hold! ๐ฅฒ
Today he saw raspberries in the fridge, thought they were strawberries and asked for them. They were for a recipe so I said he could have four and washed them. He was screaming and crying too much to eat them because he wanted the whole container. We gave him a few more, but eventually had to swap it out so his raspberries were *in* the grocery store container and put the others for the recipe in a different container that he couldn't see. Problem solved! You know how it is!
Apples, bananas, grapes & frozen fruit ice pops all meltdown worthy in my sons opinion
Its either food or me doing anything for him even when he asks. If its not the banana its somehow both that I did and did not peel the banana.
@Caroline yea . My son sometimes wants the whole container and half the time he'll try to go get a fruit by himself like an apple and orange or a strawberry or a raspberry or blueberry and I have to tell him no because sometimes that's all he'll eat is fruit
My son loves fruits. He throws a tantrum when we tell him no on no more eating the fruits. He can eat all the fruits there is in ONE day ๐ญ

The peeling an overripe banana and watching half a banana fall onto the floor is another classic tantrum starter
